Expected to lead the orchestra for the Star Trek program

DeVos Performance Hall in downtown Grand Rapids seats 2,404 people. On October 2 and 3, 2026, the Grand Rapids Symphony will try to fill both nights with the orchestral music of Star Trek.

Conducts the season-opening performances

The Grand Rapids Symphony opens its 2026-27 season on September 25 with North Macedonian pianist Simon Trpceski performing Prokofiev in the 2,404-seat DeVos Performance Hall. If both nights sell out, roughly 4,800 people move through downtown Grand Rapids, most arriving and leaving within an hour of each performance.
