Eastwood Little League vandalized again with racial slurs and structural damage

Someone climbed onto a dugout at Eastwood Little League on Aug. 30, kicked a hole through the roof, and spray-painted racial and homophobic slurs across the complex. The vandals also smashed a security camera, destroyed four of six picnic tables, and carved a swastika into one.

Local businesses and volunteers have offered cleanup help, including free graffiti removal and electrical meter repair. League president Matt Schreiner said the complex has been hit three or four times in four years. He filed a police report and is collecting repair estimates.
