Canada's most important crude staging hub just got more concentrated. On May 1, Gibson Energy closed a C$400 million purchase of a 75-kilometer gathering pipeline from oil producer Teine Energy, then immediately sanctioned a project to wire those barrels directly into its Hardisty terminal.
